Burgers in Northern NJ

Any good places around here? Loved All American on LI and "in and out" chain out west. Anything similar in Northern NJ?

There's been lots of "Best Burger" threads in the past, do a search. I have two different favorites, depending upon the type of burger for which I'm in the mood.

If its a big beefy, chargrilled tasting burger, Bogey's on Rt. 10W, Whippany is a great choice (they also have great eggplant rollatini and peirogi (sp?)). It's a bar/restaurant, very small, Humphrey Bogart posters on the walls, excellent food, especially the specials board.

However, if you want the epitome of the White Castle experience, but better and greasier, than it's White Mana in Hackensack for you. Do a search for both "White Mana" and "White Manna" to see all the posts on this place. The link below brings you to the post with a link to NJ Online, where they have a "Diner Cam" site at White Mana! And, may I recommend ordering two doubles with onions (but single the cheese), fries and a shake (the real thing!).

I never realized it was in Jersey City, not Hackensack! We always get there through Hackensack. Speaking of Hackensack - I'll be posting on THE BEST Thai restaurant in Northern NJ soon (Bangkok Garden on Main St.)

        Rachel,

Thanks for the suggestion. I think I have heard of that place in Jersey City. I will try it out soon, it sounds great!
