Gluten-free, whatever-free food is available for takeout at least from Mrs. Greens (Mt Kisco, Katonah, etc.) One gluten-free friend of mine has cultivated a relationship with a local Chinese restaurant--they use her special soy sauce and follow her rules, and it works out well for both. Of course, any decent restaurant ought to be able to make a few things that would work.

    Good luck.

A fabulous resource for gluten-free meals is: "Danae's Heavenly Foods and More", in Mt. Kisco. The owner is Danae Sintilas. She runs a personal chef service and cooks meals and goodies to order. You can reach her (phone and fax) at 914-242-9470 from 7am - 7pm. My husband and I are on wheat-free diets and I order food from her once a week. She makes the best muffins (you'd never know they were wheat-free, in fact my husband says that these are what muffins are supposed to taste like but never do!), cakes, an amazing sheep's milk ricotta cheesecake (we can't have cow's milk dairy products, either). She uses organic meats and produce, too and has a large repertoire of entrees and side dishes. Finding her was a godsend for us. She basically custom cooks for you according to whatever your dietary restrictions may be.
      Good luck and enjoy!
