Peekskill tip: Santa Lucia

I was shopping at Egg Farm Dairy this weekend, watching
a couple on their way upstate for a month buy ten
pounds of assorted cheese, and chatting with the owner,
Jonathan David. Someone asked him to recommend a
restaurant in the area, and he offered Santa Lucia, a
pizza place and Italian restaurant on Washington Ave.
in Peekskill. He said it was opened 25 years ago by
two brothers from Napoli who haven't changed their
approach in all that time. He said that when you order
veal, you hear them thumping away in the kitchen.
I haven't tried it yet, but I plan to. Anyone know it?
