Pre fixe at Carciofo
We tried the new pre fixe at Cafe Carciofo, it is unbeleivalbe. $19,95 full menu. I think it is Monday-Thursday. we had 3 courses and a great Shiraz for $70. Has anyone else tried it?

No but I might try if you provide more detail about the food - what did you have?

I had Broccoli rabe crostini, my partner had their famous grilled calamari(the best), entree was Austrailian sea bass for me, and wild mushroom risotto for my partner. Dessert was pistachio gelato and Tirami Su. It looks like they will be doing this going forward. The waitress said this is not just a restaurant week promotion. I will be going there again tonight. It's certainly the best deal I have seen anywhere in the nabe.

Wow - that actually does sound like a good bargain. I've only been there for brunch, which was easily several years ago, and I found it neither great nor bad. I'll definitely try this out sometime soon.

It's on the corner of Court st and Kane st in Cobble hill. Not sure of the address. Across from the Cobble hill theatre.

I agree Caffe Carciofo's pre fix is a great deal. We
have been regulars for years even had 2 parties in the back room. It's Mon-Thurs for the pre fix and it's 19.95 per person for anything on the menu.
