If you don't mind eating something completely unhealthy but super delicious, you have to go to cherry valley and get a "TCS". Its a chicken cutlet sandwhich with american cheese melted on top and soaked in gravy. Get it on a Hero and you will be happy !

there's another cherry valley in West Hempstead. it's lcoated on Hempstead turnpike. on the westbound side. it's the same owners as the one that have the one in whitestone.
        its also open 24 hours.
across the street is an interesting cafe, witches brew!

I have lived in Whitestone for many years and believe that Cherry Valley's only value is that it is open all night. If you're traveling to whitestone to get a sandwich, go to Tony's Deli on 154th between 11th and 12th. All of their hot foods are great, including on a hero, and they make great cold sandwiches as well. Prices are very reasonable. The Tony's special is their version of the classic italian hero. Fantastic family who owns and runs it.

I agree with Scott -- 24/7 is the only redeeming quality of that place. For another place for great sandwiches, try Malba Deli, on 14th Avenue, a block east of Parsons Blvd., I believe it's the corner of 14th Avenue and 145th Pl. Be advised that this place closes early, around 6PM. It's might be busy at lunchtime on weekdays; you might have to wait up to 20 minutes.

There is a Cherry Valley deli on 69th just before QB in Woodside ... wonder if they are the same ... the prices in Woodside are typical for sandwiches ... I like the Chickastrimi (chicken cutlet and pastrimi) ... enjoy ...
