I friend went recently and said she sat on a roofdeck that was very nice and had a pretty good meal, too. Has anyone been?

It's located at 232 Vanderbilt Avenue (between DeKalb and Willoughby)

Supremely nice staff. Decent pizza. Good salads. Pastas I've had were pretty bad.

I had a mediocre panini there for lunch one day. It was a while ago, shortly after they opened. I remember thinking it was a lot of food for the price, but it wasn't great quality and it took a really long time to make even though I was one of only two people in the place. The bread was pretty bad. Haven't tried the pizza or the roofdeck. I'd be interested in giving it a second chance if anyone has had a good experience there.

I've lived in new york for 7 years, but I'm really more of a Maryland/Alabama/Georgia boy, so I don't really have the the pizza background that a lot of people do. But I love it. I love Totonno's and Di Fara best, but I live 2 blocks from Graziella's and I think it's just a smidgeon away from being as good as Grimaldi's. It's a lot more pleasant to eat on the roof when the weather's nice than it is to stand in line at Grimaldi's. Plus Graziella's delivers. I don't like the rest of the food there all that much, though. Still, I'm a devotee of the place. My favorite is a large pie with pepperoni (little and thick - so awesome!) and caramelized onions. Yum.

Im surprised to hear the negative reviews. The food here is incredible. I wish I could keep it my little secret. If you go on a Sunday you will see Italian families having dinner. That says it all to me.

If you like pizza or are going out with the kids, Graziella's is definitely in my top 5 recommendations in all NYC - certainly best in Ft. Greene/Clinton Hill.

I live nearby, and go there often, and the staff and food are consistently fantastic. Obviously the brick oven pizza, but also the appetizers (great fried calamari and grilled octopus), pastas and fish dishes. Does not hurt that they always keep a couple local beers (six point, brooklyn, or kelso) on tap.
