Best Bakery In Staten Island! By Far!

This weekend I checked out a new Bakery that Opened recently in Staten Island called Alta Pastry Shop. it is on Amboy Road right off of Bloomingdale Road. I can't say enough... They really do have Quality stuff! Staten Island needed a great Bakery like this one. Brings me back to my Childhood in Brooklyn! They have amazing lard bread, and the canollis were out of this world! Has anyone else checked this place out? I was very impressed!

Staten Island has some very good bake shops, including Alfonso's, Andrew and Alan's and Mother Moose. All very good.

Just had a killer banana cream pie from Fratelli's on Seguine.
