the best parmigian her0 Corona Heights Pork Store

I stopped by the CHPS in Corona yesterday and I met the 2 Mary's. 2 Lovely ladies! I ordered the veal parm hero, MarLou told me it would be about 20 minutes, but she said it will be well worth the wait. I said fine lets do this!

While I was there Maryann sliced me some fresh homemade hot/sweet salamis to taste whilw I was there *DELICIOUS*

she also gave me the fresh mozzarella to try *the best*

While MaryLou was making my here, she gave me a mini sandwich while I was waiting to try she said that this is something it will be like. It was bread with the fresh homemade red sauce with the fresh mozza cheese toasted, WOW i could have eaten that as the meal!

20 minutes later, I get my hero $7.00, wow it was the best pamigian hero I have ever had, im sorry but this knocks Leo's out the frame!

1st round KO

Will be going back for the chicken hero and sausage.

just my 2 cents on my parm experience!

very nice people, excellent food!

    1. I have to add that this hero is made from scratch, no food sitting under a buffet light and this hero can actually feed 2 people.

fresh sauce, fresh mozza, fresh bread, fresh cooked veal.

      deliciouso

I have always wanted to try this place, but the one time i went inside I saw two cats roaming the store. I just think that is gross having cats around food. I imagine cat hair is everywhere - Am I being to uptight?

            1. re: rocket

yes, you are. Having a cat around is not going to dirty the food. Many people have cats at home and that does not make their food dirty or hairy. Additionally the places most food has been previously in the food chain, especially the slaughterhouses are 10 times more filthy and unsanitary than a cat.

                1. re: Jason Carey

I have 3 cats and I can assure you that nobody has ever eaten a cat hair. However, I bet that those cats should NOT be in a food store. There must be a law, as I would love to do a home-based cooking business but I dont think the inspectors would allow the cats.
So where is this place so that I may sample one of thos heros? Thanks

At least you know there are no mice nibbling on your cutlets.........

                  • No doubt that make great sandwiches. As to your reference to Leo, I assume you mean Leo Latticini nearby. While LL makes a great hot fresh turkey, mozz and gravy,I always go to them for "cold cut" sandwiches and to CHPS for hot parm sandwiches. Make sure you go back when the weather turns warm so you can eat in the park and then grab something from The Lemon Ice King Of Corona.

oh yes, I know about the ice king, been going there for years!

I love the fruit cup icee
