It's a market (already forgot the name) on third avenue between 25th & 26th Streets, under the Gowanus Expressway. Great selection, reasonable prices. It's an old school kind of market, and there is a bit of a smell of rotting produce, but I was very happy with my purchases. I got 4 friar plums (yum), 4 large peaches (pretty good), some red grapes (very good), 4 apples, 2 bunches of beautiful beets, 3 mangoes (not ripe yet), some really nice radishes, and I think it came to $13 something.
