It's a mini-chain (only in NYC and it's suburbs) and it's a bit kitschy, but the food is pretty solid and the prices very fair. Cheap beer, too. The one in Queens is in College Point. Very good aged meat, served with either fries or Greek lemon potatoes. I would recommend the fries. Nice atmosphere -- perfect for a celebration. Forgot exactly how much it was, but I believe a filet mignon was the low twenties. And if steak isn't your thing, there are a lot of Greek entrees to choose from. You better want meat, because there ain't much else, at least according to the online menu. 18oz NY Cut Shell steak is $24 - not bad. 16 oz filet (I'm not sure I'd want to eat 16 oz of filet) is $32. Two pork chops are $21 and an 18 oz veal chop is $28. They do have loads of appetizers.... Steak WITH sides is half the price of Luger's and usually pretty damn good. The place is big so you can go any night. I hear they opened another in Manhattan recently near 2nd Ave but I don't know about the prices in the new joint. Don't get any entree other than steak.
