        <content>Hi - I  just started dieting with Weight Watchers, and am going to the Jackson Diner tomorrow night.  What should I order?  Many thanks for your ideas on lower fat menu items.</content>

      <content>the tandoori items should be okay, since they're essentially sauceless (albeit marinated) and baked in a tandoori oven. any veggie dish that has "dry" in its description won't have too much in the way of troublesome ingredients. most of the other dishes will be kind of ghee-laden, though. not sure about the bread situation, perhaps someone else has more of a clue on that...</content>

      <content>Indian food is one of the WORST foods to eat on WW.
Ditto what the person before me said.
I would do something with chick peas (at least you're getting the fiber that WW loves). Stay away from anything masala, saag, or saucy.
Naan will cost you a lot of pts, but 1 piece is better than a serving of rice.</content>

      <content>They have a tandoori salmon that is absolutely scrumptious.  The tandoori chicken is quite good too but the salmon is more unusual.  Check out the WW booklets...I think they give point assessments for the condiments and some breads so that should help as well.  Enjoy!</content>
