xi'an food stall at flushing food court?
I'm a little behind in my CH reading, but does anyone know if this stall has reopened or moved to the flushing mall food court (as HLing thought might be the case a while back)?
Heading there tonite, so any help today would be great!

Well, maybe you can give a full report. I didn't get a chance to try this new place at the Flushing Mall, but only walked by. I saw on the menu not just Lanzhou hand pulled noodles, but also food from other regions.
None of the people looked familiar. They're not the ones from the Xian place.›4 Replies-

Well I went tonite and the Xi'an counter really is no more. I tried Ramen King one more time and it was even less underwhelming than the time before. The noodles were freshly pulled, but still the consistency wasn't quite right -- kind of overcooked and mushy. The broth was so-so (I was begging for more cilantro) and the beef was exremely tough and chewy. I am definitely going to check out the new place in the Flushing Mall foodcourt next time.
A couple other things:
1)There was a HORRIFIC smell on the first floor of this food court, towards the back. Smelled like a zoo. Really foul.
2)Unless you get the plain 'milk tea', bubble tea is no longer 2/$3. at the counter on the first floor. $2. is still not a bad price, but 2/$3. was such a steal. -

Hi,
Just a clarification. Xian Famous Food's 2nd store IS located in the Flushing Mall (same as the one in the Golden Shopping Mall in Flushing Main Street). I think you went to the wrong side of the Flushing Mall. The Lan Zhou place is a totally different store, and is not affiliated with Xian Famous Foods. You have to go left towards the stage from the entrance. There is TV screen in front of the real Xi'an store in Flushing Mall, you can't miss it. Same dishes as the old store!
www.xianfoods.com for details on location.
