This is a REALLY good place! First off, you get free popcorn! The hamburgers are really good, and the hotwings are superb! Especially with the blue cheese sauce. (They also have Steve's Keylime pie.)
Go there is you haven't.

Actually, I'm not old enough to tell you. But, my mother and I have been wanting to get a bottle of beer called, "Hair of the Dog Frank" Just because the name is so great.
(It has a lot of different varieties of beer and wine, known from looking at board after board of lists on the walls.) :-)

Waterfront has an exceptional list of draft beers, often the best in Brooklyn. (The only rival is Muggs in Williamsburg, although The Gate and Sparky's come close.) When you throw in the more than decent food, the terrific whisky (and whiskey) list, and the popcorn... What's not to love? Well, the popcorn is oversalted, maybe.

The Waterfront Ale House, both the original Brooklyn location and its Manhattan twin, have been Chowhound favorites for years. The beer list is extensive and the burgers are considered to be some of the best in the city. Type "Waterfront Ale House" in the home page search engine to see hundreds of posts.

Well, everybody else has already pretty much said it. What's not to like here? Though it doesn't have the BIGGEST selection of draft beers in the world, it's certainly one of the best any where in town. I've often thought their motto should be "We serve no crap on tap!" As for the food, well, I've never had anything I didn't really like. The pulled pork sandwich is always a fave. Great burgers. There's ALWAYS something really yummy on the menu. Even try the homemade landjaeger wurst over at the bar. Makes a great munchy if you're not havin' a full meal.

And yes, the free popcorn is sometimes too salty!

Oh, what I'd give for a joint like this in the Rego Park/Forest Hills area.....
