Legendary "Taste Good" malaysian in Elmhurst goinng downhill?

Recently, my friend in the Elmhurst area brought me some Chicken Rice from this great Malaysian gem. However, the taste wasn't what it used to be. I told him that it didn't taste as good as before. Ginger rice wasn't that good and soup was so salty. He said that original chefs are gone to manhattan's chinatown. They opened "Taste Good II" last year or so.

Now, I think I sould go there to have the best malaysian food in NYC.

Any similar experience at the Elmhurst "Tase Good"?

They're back in full swing at Taste Good in Elmhurst as the Taste Good II restaurant in Manhattan has been closed since April 2004.

Wellll, if you're disappointed with them, you could always take the G/R to Malaysia Rasa Sayang, in Jackson Heights.

      I've always liked them better.
