I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for a delicious Sunday brunch in Cobble Hill or Brooklyn Heights. I am taking an out-of-towner.

banania (smith and douglass) is great but always crowded. copper is a great little unknown run by three nice ladies. its one block north of sackett (dont know the exact address) between court and clinton. and i also like the red rail on henry street (and sackett?) in carroll gardens. GREAT coffee at the red rail! hope its not too late. enjoy!

We had brunch last January in Ytournel on Warren Street. It was very good IIRC.

thanks so much for your recommendations. We will use them for next weekend! Yesterday we ended up with a rather greasy breakfast at Teresa's.

I had a delectable and reasonably priced Eggs Benedict at Smith Street Kitchen two sundays ago. It was uncrowded, and you can dine in the back garden, weather permitting! I was also told by a fellow patron that they have the best oatmeal pancakes.
