It's a bakery which also serves food. I walked by it today on my way to the nearby Sripraphai and you couldn't tell from the outside that it's a restaurant. I plan to try it sometime next week. Is anyone familiar with this restaurant? Thank You. Sun Jun 30 18:37:15 -0700 2002 0 Michael 1 1263379 krystal's, which is much more expansive a place than you might think from walking by, is indeed a restaurant. it's reliable, although not my favorite of the filipino places along roosevelt (that would have to be ihawan, the bbq place a block or so up roosevelt). krystal's is good, though. i've really enjoyed some of their shrimp dishes, especially one in a thick curry with squash, as well as some pork bbq...... They serve an interesting dish that is a crepe. Lemme see if I can dig up the menu: yes, "lumpiang sariwa. A thin egg crepe with mixed lightly grilled vegetables (sprouts and ?) inside, served with peanut sauce." The crepe has a very light spongy texture. The veggies have a little crunch. Like, get a half a pig for your 4th of juuly picnic. I haven't gone in to talk or buy, so i could be wrong.
