I'd say the best is La Portena on 37th Ave at 75th St--excellent sirloins and shell steakm, and a terrific, eminently shareable salad that includes watercress, avocado, shrimp, hearts of palm and other goodies. La Fusta, which is on Baxter Ave (near Elmhurst Hospotal)has its moments too, but I've always found the meat to be of slightly lesser quality than at La Portena. Although the restaurant is not Argentine, they serve very high quality steaks and excellent parrilladas accompanied by tasty Colombian side dishes.
