Nice place for an after work drink and a burger, usually filled with a crowd of students from the nearby St. George Hotel and young professionals. I like their selection of beers. They always have the top local beers from Brooklyn Brewery as well as some more unusual offerings that you may not have tried before.

I liked it when they were Park Slope Brewing Company also, but I never thought much of the Park Slope beers.

I do recall their having some Belgian beers on draft, I think Hoegaarden and Leffe Blonde as well as some local "Belgian style" beers like Brooklyn Weisse.

Well, this is making me thirsty. I'll post more after my next visit, unless someone else can fill in some more details sooner.

Re: Belgian beers.

This isn't a place for the interesting/weird ones, if that's what you're looking for. In Brooklyn, you'll do better at Waterfront on Atlantic, Sparky's on Court, or J. Muggs in Williamsburg. Henry Street Ale House and the Park Slope Ale House -- both former Park Slope Brewing sites -- are a cut above many bars in terms of variety but a cut below the ones above.

I've been numerous times to Sparky's, Muggs, The Gate and Waterfront Ale House. Was just hoping to find something new but if all Henry Street has is Hoegarden and Brooklyn beers then I'll probably skip it.
