Gia Lam II?

I am having lunch tomorrow at Bai Lam II in Sunset Park's Chinatown (Brooklyn). Just wondering what are the best dishes (and their prices)?

Prices are cheap, like Vietnamese places in Chinatown. I think you'll be most satisfied if you stick with the typical stuff, like grilled pork chops over rice, or the rice noodle soups.

The grilled pork chops are a good choice. I also enjoy the spring rolls as an appetizer. BTW, does anyone know what happened to the original Gia Lam? It was located on the same street, a few blocks deeper into Sunset Park on a corner. Currently it is boarded up. Just curious.

neighborhood rumor is that the first Gia Lam closed because the lease expired and rent went way up.
