Burmese Fun + Food Fair?

Ivan Stoler Jul 31, 2001 12:17 PM

Last August via Big Dogs posting I found out about the Burmese Baptist Briarwood Churchs food + fun fair. I haven't heard anything about it and even drove by the church the other day but nothing...Anybody have any info? Anybody know of ANY decent Burmese food in the tristate area. Have belly will fill, have car will drive. Hats off to Paladin...

Have you tried Village Mingala at 21 East 7th Street? Good thousand layer pancakes, ginger salad, squid salad, and Mandalay nungyi thoke. Many of their dishes are quite tasty, others are pedestrian.

You should post this in the Manhattan board. I'll continue this thread there.
