Tried Killmeyers for Easter dinner. They had 2 seatings and we took the 5p.m. Place was full and service was fine , not rushed but quick and attentive. I was stunned by the beer selection - six or seven german beers on tap and at least fifty bottled beers - Belgian, French etc. Hot cream of potato soup for a start, Six entree choices in a prix fix menu. We had spring lamb ( very tender and tasty , not muttony as lamb sometimes is ) and pork tenderloins ( thick juicy chunks not the usual thin slices). Dessert was strawberrys in a peach rum sauce with whipped cream. Price with tip came to about $80. Good value and I want to get back to try their everyday menu.
P.S. its at the southern end of Staten Island off rte 440 exit 3 in an area that looks like it was forgotten by time .
