Finally tried Los Pollitos II

Although I had ordered take-out twice, it has taken me this long to try Los Pollitos II for lunch today. There were five of us, so we got to taste a lot of items.
My short take is great food, horrendous service.
Yes, it was crowded, which I understand, but even after there was only one table left but ours, our food was very long in coming. Guacamole did arrive right away--completely undersalted, but otherwise delicious. Good pico de gallo, though it could have been racier.
When we still hadn't seen any food about forty-five minutes later, I asked the waiter, who said it was coming. I told him we were in a bit of a hurry (which we wouldn't have been if it had been normal service, also my four year old was famished by now). He asked if we'd like it brought out as it was ready, and we said yes. One by one, our plates came out--six I think. This process took quite a bit of time--our friends had were finishing their two plates each as ours arrived. Now only my son was left with nothing in front of him--turned out they forgot to write his order down. We had to change his order to get him something quickly. During this mess, there was no word of explanation or apology, though the waiter did finally apologize for my son's order when we left.
Chicken enchilada mole was dreamy--the sauce was rich and delicious, and it seemed the chicken had been cooked slowly in it for some time. Excellent. I'll have that next time. My chile relleno was perfect, and the sauce wonderful. Very good rice (which, curiously, is hard to find round these parts), and good refritos too, but just a tiny bit of them. Beans with arroz y frijoles were perfectly cooked & seasoned pintos (not refritos), nicely garnished with shreds of queso blanco and sour cream. Very good tacos. My son had chicken tacos, which I usually don't order because I'm always disappointed, but these were tasty. Wonderful chorizo tacos.
So....I'll certainly be back. And soon! I'm just going to try to arrive before the rush, ask them to repeat our order, etc. By the way, the food was far better than the take-out had been several times. But that's not uncommon.
