Czech & Slovak Fest?????
re: Jenna Moss
Yeah, Bohemian Hall is a great place and the festival
should be fun. I think the place has the last so-called
"beer garden" in the city if anyone's keeping track. I
drank excellent Staropramen and danced with a girl
named Dasha, or was it Daryll, at last year's fest.
Pigged out on pork. See you there. Oink. Oink.

Proving that life is a series of odd occurences.....I had been meaning to try the Bohemian Hall during the past summer but never got my act together to do so. Now I understand that Ali caters an event there on Wednesday nights. Since y'all have spoken highly of the BH here and I'm quite familiar with Ali's work, I'm quite curious about how this combination will turn out.

Shhh - that was big-dog. He took down the post because
it read like a blatant ad for the Czech fest to him.
And to tell you the truth, it was probably put up by
one of the promoters of the festival - or some close
"What jerk-off took off the posting about the Czech & Slovak Festival in Astoria before I could copy down the info? Put it back, please!"
uh...yeah, that'd be me, Richard. It was clearly an ad, and it was posted/spammed to multiple boards. So it broke two different clearly posted rules re: our message boards, and we ALWAYS delete stuff like that...we can't make exceptions for really good places. And Bohemia Hall IS lots of fun (not sure about the food, though). I can confirm that Jenna's information is correct (thanks, Jenna!)
NOTE: in the future, if something like this happens, a short (hopefully semi-polite) email to me will have the information you're looking for speeding back to you. My email's above, and plastered pretty much all over the site.
