Rooftop brunch with a view?
I'd like to take someone special out for a Sunday brunch. We're both pretty new to the city and I thought somewhere among the rooftops would be a "wow, we're in New York," kind of moment.
- BED's perhaps the right look, but the 2:00 pm start time's too late for us.
- Sushi Samba sounds like a great rooftop brunch, but apparently it has no view to speak of.
Does my dream exist?
Thank you!

Dont know if you still need to find out about places in the city as youre now a few months in. However, Landmarc at Time Warner might be a good bet if you don't have to be outside. It has huge windows on one side so you can see col's circle and the SW Corner of the park. Plus, some celeb sightings if youre into that...Solid food, though reportedly not as good as Tribeca location.

"...youre [sic] now a few months in."
Looking at the date stamp, that would be *three years*! lol
I do hope she found something that suited her needs, though there are scant places in Manhattan of the type she was looking for. The View Restaurant & Lounge, high up in the Times Square Marriott Marquis, has a revolving view and serves brunch. The River Cafe, in Brooklyn, has a sensational (non-rooftop) view of the Manhattan skyline and serves brunch.
