Dinner near W 190th St?

Samantha J Jun 8, 2006 03:44 PM

On Sat, I'm heading up to W 190th St to see a play, (as part of the Uptown Arts Stroll). Any recs for a place to have dinner afterwards? I'll be with a group of about 10.

Try Rancho Jubilee for a fun time & solid Dominican food. Its around 195th & Broadway, I think.

In the upper 180s on Broadway there's a place called El Salvadorena. I would pretty highly recommend it. Very reasonably priced Salvadoran food. Try the pupusas. Cheers!

I had a very good dinner last Saturday night at Park Terrace Bistro (207th and Broadway, French-Moroccan cuisine). They were pretty busy, so if you're interested, I'd call now to see if they can accomodate your group. Check the link, and note that the menu is representative, not definitive.

Incidentally, I had a Moroccan-style lamb shank with prunes and almonds, which was delicious.
