La Petite Abeille -- review
My sister and I had dinner for the first time at La Petite Abeille last night, and we both enjoyed it! She started with the mussels that she classed as the best she's had--very creamy. I had the fried calamari which was very good--I ate too much. We both had the steak frites--steak was good, fries were excellent, and the dressed salad was a nice touch. We both shared the Belgian waffle with coffe ice cream, whipped cream and caramel sauce--absolutely worth the calories. Neither of us could finish the steak so we both took home "doggie bags". We'll definitely go back.
glad you enjoyed yourselves!
btw, which PA did you visit?
Sadly, everytime I've visited the 20th street branch the noise level is so loud that it ruins the enjoyment of whatever was served.

We went to the Petite Abeille on 20 St., and the noise level in the restaurant was very loud with music. Next time we'll try to dine outside.

I like the Tribeca location. You all must have had the mussels in the beer/cream sauce. I like the marinieres. I've found that this is a good place to take people because they serve everything from salmon to burgers to shellfish. Everyone is pleased.
