          BB Sandwich Bar
          120 West 3rd Street
          212-473-7500

When I went there was also a cupcake-only place in the same (tiny) space. Their free mini's weren't bad (and the price was right).

        4. OK, it's two things, but still a niche place: Burgers and Cupcakes, on 9th Ave.

          Also, the Soupman franchise.

I'm sure there are more. Too bad Grilled Cheese NYC closed.

          1. Desserts only: ChikaLicious and Room4Dessert

              1. New mac & cheese place (See Frank Bruni's blog today) called S'mac -- sounds great!
