I haven't had a fresh-off-the turbine batch of cotton candy in ages. Anyone know where I could get any fresh?

I recently had a meal and plenty of drink at Kenka (St. Marks Place, look for the badger statue). After your meal, they give everyone a spoonful of sugar to spin your own cotton candy on the way out of the restaurant. Only place I've come across it away from a boardwalk/street fair.

The Four Seasons is famous for their cotton candy. But of course, the meal beforehand will cost you plenty. I don't know if they still serve it, since I was last there in 1988!

I had a pre-theatre dinner at the 4 Seasons about a year ago (a very reasonable $55 prix fixe with selections from a menu that included their outstanding farmhouse duck for two as an entree option); the cotton candy was not part of the prix fixe deal, but there was plenty of it in evidence at other tables.

Presumably we could have ordered it as a supplement - service was extremely accomodating.

Landmarc & BLT Fish both have cotton candy. I don't know about BLT Fish, but Landmarc's is made fresh and comes in funky flavors like pina colada & blueberry.
