This place sounds interesting, but I've not heard much about it. Any opinions?

I was so disappointed with my dinner at Terra Brazilis. We live in the neighborhood and wanted to give it a try since we always seem to go across the street to Suppenkuche. Anyway, we ordered the Warm Marinated Shrimp with Roasted Vegetables in Balsamic Sauce on a Bed of Mixed Greens to start...the salad leaves were dry and we hardly got any shrimp which tasted somewhat bland. We weren't that hungry and just got a chicken dish which also wasn't too tasty...maybe it was an off-night but we're not going back since we weren't too impressed. If you decide to go, let us know.

I've eaten there twice, and had a good experience both times. One of those times was when I organized a dinner for a very large party (40 people), and everyone was happy with both the food and the overall experience.

I've mainly had small plates there, and would pretty much recommend everything on their tapas menu. The main courses I sampled were also quite good, but I don't remember which ones it was anymore. Desserts were disappointing both times though. They also serve really good pao de quejo (small bread buns stuffed with cheese) with the meal, almost as good as the ones I had in Brazil.
