Vegetarian at Le Bernardin

I am going to Le Bernardin for dinner tonight, and I am very excited. Problem is, I am a vegetarian and I do not eat fish. (Restaurant was not my choice, too late to change).

I know that they have a pasta dish as a vegetarian alternative, but I was wondering if anyone had any other recommendations or experience with this. Are they amenable to giving people the accompaniments to dishes without the fish?

Should I just focus on dessert? If so, which ones are the stand-outs?

I hope you can help, I don't want this great restaurant to be wasted on me.

I would suggest that you call Le Bernardin 212-554-1515 and let them know about your special dietary needs and ask them if there are other options aside from the pasta dish. so that they can prepare you a dish before hand. It would be a shame for you and your eating companions have an otherwise potential great dining experience ruined.
