Please tell me where you get your favorite stuffed grape leaves.

I make mine--get the leaves-they come in a jar-rinse them and stuff with rice and mint and sultanas(omit the sultanas if you don't like them)

I have had very decent ones from Zabars (not in a can). Sadly, I just got the "vegetarian" fresh ones at Sahadis and they were very dry and lacking in flavor.

Kalyustan's on Lex between 28th and 29th. I prefer the ones upstairs in the cafe, rather than the ones they have in the refrigerators in back.

Snack on Thompson Street. Really soft and moist. I usually get them with the combo mezze platter of dips.

love the ones at ethos on 33rd and 3rd. also, i really like the grape leaves from whole foods.
