Le Pain Quotidien - Great Donut Report

While passing Le Pain Quotidien on 8th St. yesterday, I saw this pastry in the window I just had to try. The guy at the counter said it was a French donut. It was so delicious! A good quality donut, slit down the middle filled with a giant ball of vanilla pastry cream. Oh, it was SO good!

  1. I had one similar to that which you described, but from the mid-town location ... and it was delicious. A little tough to eat in the park, but still a small revelation in comparison to so many of the "death fried dough" donuts in the City.

    1. It's true. The best thing here is the donut and the take-away jars of tea.
