Sparky's on Lafayette

I noticed a newish place on Lafayette, near Bleecker (right next to "Bite"). It's Sparky's American Food and carries a variety of hot dogs, burgers, shakes, etc all with organic meats and dairy. Anyone know if this is related to Sparky's in Williamsburg? The menu doesn't say. I love Sparky's in the'burg for a quick bit and am wondering if anyone's been to this new one.

I LOVE sparky's! I only eat organic/natural and hadn't had a burger or hotdog outside of my own kitchen in years! This was a real treat and it was delicious and fresh and speedy delivery!!!

I really liked my dog and fries. The dog had a nice snap from the casing.

I was underwhelmed as well. (Tried a hotdog and french fries.)

Yes, I believe it's related. The NYT ran a story about it and 2 other hot dogs places recently. I tried a dog with mustard and sauerkraut the other day and was underwhelmed, but I'd give it another shot. My complaints - the bun was cold, they use yellow mustard (some may prefer this, but not me), and the sauerkraut was basically cabbage. The beef dog, though, was tasty.

i went to sparky's last week. dropped in for a burger. it was decent. nothing special. i wouldnt go out of my way for it. but for about $6 in change it was a decent size, good meat (all natural i guess), nice slice of tomato, onion, and pickles.
