In fact, I noticed that their cocktail menu includes a number of drinks I've seen on the menus of the other bars you mention (w/o always giving tribute), however, judging from what I ordered, they turn out an inferior preparation. I ordered their Juniperitivo, made with Junipero gin and pomegranite molasses, and found it to be almost all pomegranate, far too tart, very little discernabel gin, no balance whatsoever, while the Juniperitivo served at the Flatiron Lounge's was a lesson in good drinkmaking. Audrey Saunders was the long-time cocktail director at the Bemelman's bar...she consults for Flatiron Lounge (creates many of their drinks) and then opened Pegu Club. They're definately well made, but not as inventive as Milk and Honey's. Pegu Club seems a little too tie and jacket for me, although i can be totally wrong, but thats just my impression.
