I love this Greek delicacy--the more garlic, the better. Where can I find the best in NYC?

I can't tell you if it is the best, but I have enjoyed at Meltemi on First and 50-something. Ethos is also good but on the potatoey side.

Stamatis in Astoria by far (both locations). Even though it's outerborough, you asked for "NYC".

Yes, I did. Thank you for the recommendation(s).

Elias Corner in Queens makes skordalia with enough garlic to explode your sinuses. Pretty good fish, too.

I think the best Skordalia in NY is at Periyali, served with the giant white beans (Gigandes Skordalia).

I really like Taverna's version - as well as Snack Taverna's.

I'm looking for skordalia, too! I'm reviving this topic, as the responses are 2 years old. Any updated recommendations?
