My favorite place, Natchez, recently closed. What I can recommend is Bayou in Harlem; however, I have not been in a while. Also, Great Jones Cafe can be a good choice too! All the traditional NO dishes like gumbo, jambalaya and beans & rice are definitely the best in NYC (both taste and price). The BBQ shrimp is also so so yummy that my friend actually licked the plate! They've recently opened the next door for dining space.
