Some of the best gyro I've ever gotten at these carts. There are a few including a Mexican stand which is great, a BBQ stand which is great and the best Gyro stand in midtown. There are two in this area...look for the one with two people (one cooking/ another taking orders)...Their food is to die for!

Id reccomend the Chicken over Yellow rice

I work right there and appreciate the info, but I must say that your endorsement of the Mexican food cart makes your recommendations dubious. I made the mistake of going to that cart once and found the food to be greasy and flavorless.

The Daisy Mae cart is solid, though.

That cart consistently rips people off. I've been standing in the other line at least four seperate times when I've been the guy shortchange his customers. Even when questioned, he denies it (says he was given a $10, not a $20, etc)

Daisy Mae is good though.

I was interested in this, as I haven't found another cart to frequent since Cinthia and Robert shut up shop. However, this afternoon there were four gyro-type carts, none of which was staffed by two people. Could you be a little more specific?

(I wouldn't generally get Mexican food from a cart, but now I'm tempted to go and pay with a bill that I've previously xeroxed, just to call him on his scam.)
