I'm new to the Wall Street area (located at Wall and B'way). I'm looking for some tasty quick and cheap lunch options in the neighborhood. All of the delis seem like they are owned by the same company.

I once had a delicious five dollar sub sandwich from a street cart at Wall and Broad but that seems to have either moved or gone out of business.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I like the choices on Maiden Lane, between Nassau and Broadway. Alfanoose is the tops, by far. Also, for a nice selection of hot meals that change daily (with brown or yellow rice and steamed vegetables) try Health Exchange. Good smoothies too. The deli across the street from Health Exhange puts together better sandwiches that most places. On Pearl Street, I had a nice meal at Ise. And Sophie's for Cuban. Check out the options on Stone Street; people here like Financier, and I think a new pizza place opened there. Chili from the Daisy May cart on Wall Street. Fruit salad from the cart that moved to Nassau and Liberty.
