I've seen some comments by others either on this board or maybe elsewhere disparaging Chez Papa. But in my experience, the only thing to criticize is the noise. Besides both being in the food business, there really isn't any comparison to what McNally has accomplished , except possibly the scope of Pat Kuleto (and mainly in scope). And why even the need for comparison in an article such as this? Balthazar and Pastis alone stand head and shoulders above most of the similarly themed restaurants here, and the venerable Odeon...
