Anywhere in Manhattan, moderate to expensive. Someplace fun, yet appropriate for my mom's birthday. They're all out-of-towners so somewhere impressive. American food or at least a menu that will accommodate picky eaters in the group. Good views (or unique ambience) & great service important.
