You beat me to it! I second the Silver Spurs burger, it's massive and yummy. I had a huge burger at Cafeteria as well.

In a word, no. For a large burger that will satisfy most appetites you could try McHale's.

I'll second McHale's. you can easily split this thing... or go for the whole thing, just don't plan moving much for a couple hours after.

Third McHale's. The burger is big enough to share, but only if you get the cheese and bacon, and you finish all of your fries.

      2. It's not Denny's place with the yellow sign it's a place called Dennys Dinner in PA.

          my apologies.
          i stand corrected.

        2. "Jackson Hole" makes big burgers. My favorite burger is the one they make at "44 x 10". It's big and grilled to perfection.

            where's this place?

If you're asking about 44 & 10, it gets its name from its location: on 10th Av. & 44th St.

Btw, I have no idea how much the burger at Molly's (3rd Av., b/t 22nd & 23rd Sts.) weighs, but I view it as being in the very large category, and it's excellent.

          2. the Bar 89/Elsa's burger is about 12 ounces.

The Sumo Burger at Big Nick's on 77th and Broadway weighs in at one pound.

Yes, indeed. It also has the added benefit of being delicious.

              2. Oh yeah that Sumo burger. That may win it. But has anyone tried the Bosnain burger at
