I want to treat my Mom to tasting menu ideally with wine pairings and have narrowed choices to Blue Hill,Daniel,Bouley or Jean Georges. Can anyone help with a final decision and why they feel that way. Thanks

Be prepared to spend at Bouley. My husband and I just went there last week and after tip our bill was 425. We both got the tasting menu, he got the wine added to his menu and i did not, but i did order 2 drinks from the bar and added in a small portion of foie gras. The wine they chose with the meals was fabulous, although some of the food i was impressed with, some i was not. The tuna app. was delicious, the app. with squid, shrimp etc. was not that great. The halibut was great, black bass was just ok. The baby pig entree was so wonderful. We had both the chocolate and pineapple desserts and both were very nice. It was a good dinner, worth the money, no, but still nice. Hope this helps!
