The Soup Nazi is called the International Soup Kitchen, on 55th Street, but he hasn't opened this year.

"Monks" Diner is Tom's Diner, but only the exterior was used, looks nothing like it does inside. You do know that Seinfeld was shot in California on sound stages and backlots.

Tom's Diner is on 112th and Broadway. I would not reccomend any of the food there. Take a picture in front and get right back on the subway! (Or, go walk around the Columbia campus, which is nice).

I disagree. Took a group there a few months back, and had great diner food at Tom's. Burgers n' fries, grilled cheese, etc., but from my experience, Tom's does diner food well. No "big salad" though. Surprised they don't play up the Seinfeld angle more.

While it hasn't been updated in a few years, this fan's site will give you a rundown of Seinfeld-related NYC locations. Have fun, but please don't stalk the cast -- unlike LA, we don't do such things here :)
