Trying to find a few items for the bar, and haven't had any successes in my attempts thus far.

Has anyone found Peychaud's bitters anywhere in the city? My search has come up empty.

Also, when at Veritas last week, we ordered a great bottle of Lambrusco (stop snickering) - Cantine Cesi, Lambrusco, Emilia, Italy 2002. Have been poking around since for a retailer who carries a decent Lambrusco, with no luck (Astor only carries Riunite Lambrusco).

Any help would be terrific! Thanks...

That's not true...ASTOR WINES carries a number of Lambruscos (not onlly RIunite). In fact, I'm drinking one of their Lambruscos right now...

Can't help you with the bitters though. Don't know anything about it.

Cheers,

I'm currently drinking the "SOLO Reggiano", which is $10.99. They had a more-expensive Lambrusco also -- I think it was was in the $15-$17 range.

I love Lambruso! Yes, Riunite sucks!

you could take the g train to bergen street from lic and it is not too far. otherwise a load of trains go close by: the f, the r, the 4,5, the 2,3.
