Just went for a holiday party there, one of the owners used to work at a company I did before I arrived.

Everything was really quite nice.

The pizzas, a holdover from Risa, were tasty. The Brandied Scallops wrapped in Bacon were excellent. An the Fried Squid was perfect, done I think in a cast iron skillet with moist breadcrumbs on the bottom - different and good.

It is also very cozy and friendly, give it a go.

Yes. I had the chicken pot pie, which was basically a bowl of salty gravy w/ two small pieces of chicken in it topped by a small round crust floating on the top. My boyfriend had the mac/cheeese - very very dry, as though it had been sitting in the fridge way too long and reheated in the microwave. The service was terrible as well - the waiter didn't remember our drinks and had to be reminded twice, and the food took forever to get to our table. Maybe we should have tried the cheese plate or pizza.

Where as I don't like to necessarily read that a guest had a less than perfect time at my restaurant, I do appreciate the feedback. It only helps us get better. I hope that you do give us a second chance.
