At the makeshift christmas shops at Bryant Park there is a Mariebelle's outpost and the are making both european and american style hot chocolate. flavors included dark chocolate and chili powder. Their european hot chocolate isn't quite as thick as city bakery but it has that same richness. They had boxes of chocolate and a few other treats to buy but a much smaller selection than the soho store

Not too much else by way of food- a couple of uninspiring muffin/cookie places. There is a small place called Messina Foods selling mediterranean food. some pasta sauces, jars of olives, and mostly greek (hard) sausages. The guy who owns it thinks greek sausages are better than italian. he doesn't have his own store but would like to open one and is using this as a test case.

yes- that was the primary thing they were selling. (in a tent you are limited to what you can stock and the tins of hot chocolate are perfect for their capacity).
