Help!

I'm drawing a blank as to what would be something sweet and good to bring to hannukah tonight.
One of the guests is allergic to ALL nuts, so babka is out!
I will be in the EV, starting out at B'way and Houston and ending up around 14th street.

-What are some suggestions? or general jewish desserts-- B/W cookies, ckaes, ect.

I think there is a kosher bakery on 2nd ave around 9th or 10th street? Maybe its on First Ave on the West side of the street...

thanks!

I have no idea why (and I'm pretty sure there's nothing religious to this) by my family always has an open-faced apple tart on Hannukah. I guess the idea is to eat something light after all those fried latkes!
