216213 Mon Nov 22 00:13:54 -0800 2004 1 18 Manhattan 0 1151206 Just had great Peanut Butter pie at Veselka(2nd Ave&9th st).It's actually a slice of cake that has thick chocolate cookie crust on the bottom.white-ish color peanut butter part is very rich and dense with crunchy peanut inside.the top part is covered with chochlate.everything is well balanced, and the sweetness is just right. My favorite Peanut Butter pies so far are Virgil's and Peanut Butter Co's.and Veselka's is as good as these two.if you like peanut Butter, just try. for just peanut butter alone, I love freshly grounded peanut butter at Whole foods, anyway.
