Know of any served in a pizzeria? (location not important). I remember there used to be a place on lower Amsterdam Ave. years ago and it was a pretty reasonable facsimile of real pizza. Haven't seen any in ages but unfortunately need to find some now...

Yes, there's a place on the east side of Amsterdam between 74th & 75th (Johnny & Pepper's???) which did a pretty good one (if you don't mind soy), with a very good whole wheat crust. I haven't been there in about two years, though, so you might want to make sure they still do it.

Thanks a lot, both of you. Can't believe that uptown place might still be there (I went 10+ years ago). It's in the latest phone book, anyhow...
