We live upper west and hope to stay north of 59th Street to avoid a traffic situation, but we don't mind going east. We currently have reservations at March, but I've read some negative things lately. Any other suggestions? We love good French and Italian, super quiet and intimate. The price should be no more than March (nothing priced to the extreme of ADNY!). First rate Modern French cuisine. A warm welcome from the reception personnel and manderin quality service with not a hint of snootiness.
